# Adding a Handover Question

You can create Handover questions, and apply them to a Handover. These will be answered by a user handing over a scaffold.

1. From the **Map** screen, select **Global Settings**

7. Specify whether this question is mandatory by putting a check in the box

8. Specify whether to include a not applicable item ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-WY2HSJAM.png)

The question will be added.

The question will also appear on any new Handovers, and can be answered by the user completing the Handover.
