# Adding a Shift

You can create a new shift to ensure scaffolds are inspected at the start of this shift

To do this

1. From the **Map** screen, select **Global** **Settings** **![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-1694609843498.png)**
2. In **Global Settings**, select **Shifts**

4. In the **Shift** **Details** dialog, specify the name of the shift and the start time. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/5ffb818c-32e0-4c0e-87d9-d9bdd41ab871.png) **Note: The Start time is in either 12 or 24-time format. In this example, it is in the 24-hour time format. This can be changed the General Settings.**
5. Click **OK** The new shift will be added.
