# Adding an Inspection Question

You can create Inspection questions, and apply them to a HaInspection ndover. These will be answered by a user Inspecting the scaffold.

1. From the **Map** screen, select **Global Settings**

2. Select **Questions....**

3. Select **Inspection Questions** (if not already selected)

6. Select the [group](/v1/docs/groups) to assign the question to ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-B8F2D9P8.png)
7. Specify whether this question is mandatory by putting a check in the box ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-CJENITI9.png)

You must then add the question to an [inspection template](https://docs.avontus.com/docs/inspection-templates).
