# Adding a Safety Document to a Scaffold

When you have created a Safety Document template in the [Global Settings](https://docs.avontus.com/docs/safety-document-template-options), and add a [Template to the Scaffold](https://docs.avontus.com/docs/assigning-safety-document-templates), you can then add the Safety Document.

To do this

1. Open the **Scaffold’s Details**

1. Select the **Safety Document** tab

The document has been added, and it can now be [signed](https://docs.avontus.com/docs/signing-a-safety-document).
