# Arranging a Scheduled Dismantle

When work has been completed on the scaffold, the scaffold will need to be dismantled. There are two ways to dismantle a scaffold. You can create a dismantle request or a scheduled dismantle. A scheduled dismantle allows a user to skip the request process.

**Arranging a Scaffold Dismantle from the Map Screen**

1. On the Map screen, select the Scaffold to be dismantled
2. Select **Standing**
3. Select **Dismantle**

6. Select the Scaffold again and then select **Standing**
7. Select **Dismantle**
8. Select to use an existing scheduled dismantle and click **OK**

The status will change to Dismantle in Progress
10. Select the scaffold pin

**Arranging a Scaffold Dismantle from the Scaffold Details Screen**

> **Note: You can also select the scaffold pin on the Map screen and click Scaffold Details.**
2. Double-click the scaffold to dismantle or select details

3. In the **Scaffold** **Details** screen, select **Dismantle** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-J20BFDVF.png)
4. From the three options, select **Create a new scheduled dismantle** and then select **OK**.

10. Select **OK** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-G4MQ36MA.png) The scaffold status will change to **Dismantled**. The scaffold can now be deleted and removed from the ScaffoldIQ application.
