# Adding a Safety Document Template

**Safety Document Templates** created in the **Global Settings** can be assigned to a **Scaffold** or **Request**. You can select to apply specific Text sections of the Safety Document Template so that you only assign relevant text sections to the Scaffold.

To do this

2. Open the **Scaffold** (or Request) **Details** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-0NI194DE.png)

1. Provide the **Description** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-UT1T8BHE.png)
2. Select the checkbox of a section you wish to include.

In some cases you may need to provide severity and probability details.
3. Select the Persons at risk from the grid on the left by clicking in the checkbox of the relevant role

4. Select the Probability and Risk Rating for the Initial Risk Rating

7. Repeat steps 7 - 11 as necessary
