We will show you how to create the required boards for your platform, which will cover your steel pans. We also reference the parts within the bill of materials to accurately calculate how many sheets you will need. Please see [Creating Plywood Sheets for Your Scaffolding Using Building Objects](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbGU0PnNRaQ&ab_channel=AvontusSoftware) for a video version of this article. To do this 1. Drag a **Beam** onto the design page. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-BWJXZAUU.png) 1. In the **Beam**’s settings, set the length to 8 ft. 2. Set **Height** to 18mm 3. Set **Width** to 4 ft 4. Set **Wall Thickness** to 0 5. Set **Vertical Alignment** to **Bottom** 6. Provide the **Part Numbers** 7. Change the colour if required 8. Click **OK.** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-459YNCUG.png) You have now created your Plywood sheet. 1. Place the **Plywood** sheet on the Bay/board ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-IZ2UL1AE.png) We will now send the sheet to the back so the bay measure appears on top of the sheet. 2. Click the sheet, and select **Drawing.** 3. Click **Send to Back**, and select **Send to back** to send the plywood sheet to the back so you can see the bay’s measurements.![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-1TEI96FN.png) Your design will look like this. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-DHDTS7GX.png) We will then need to adjust the height of the Plywood sheet as it’s at the bottom of the design. We will need to adjust this to match the board level of the bay, which can be found in the **Elevation** column of the **Bay Level Edito**r. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-BN8A3SYK.png) 1. Open the Plywood sheet’s details and set the **Reference Elevation** to be slightly higher than the board’s elevation 2. Click **OK** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-7BR7D8KY.png) The height of the plywood sheet is at the desired length. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-JCUPJVOK.png) 3. You can then copy and paste the sheet until all bays/boards are covered. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-74IMOIO1.png) Your design will look like this. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-ER1TORBZ.png)
