# Deleting a Map Overlay

Only one Map Overlay can be added to the Map screen, therefore if you wish to upload a new Map Overlay, you must delete the current Map Overlay.

> **Note: Only users with** [**access**](https://docs.avontus.com/docs/permissions) **to the** [**Global Settings**](https://docs.avontus.com/docs/global-settings) **screen can do this**

3. Select **Yes, Delete.**
