# Person

These are questions that require a user/person as an answer.

**Active** - Indicates that the question is active and will appear on the Inspection/Handover form.

**Name -** The descriptive name of the question.

**Details/Instructions** - This is where you'll enter the question for the scaffold

**Group** - Specify the group to which this question belongs.

**Validation Rules** - Click this checkbox to mark this question as mandatory when completing inspections or handovers

**Default Value -** This is the default answer when the user is completing the inspection or handover form.

**Include people in Selected Roles** - Select which **[user roles](https://avontus.document360.io/v1/docs/roles-permissions)** to include. The user assigned to the enabled roles will appear in the drop-down when completing the Inspection or Handover.

**Note: You can change or add roles in the People screen. Please see [Adding User Roles](https://avontus.document360.io/docs/adding-a-user-role)** **for more information.**
