# Text

These are questions that require a text answer, for example, it could be used to explain the purpose of the scaffold

**Active** - Indicates that the question is active and will appear on the inspection/handover form.

**Name -** The descriptive name of the question

**Details/Instructions** - This is where you'll enter the question for the scaffold.

**Group** - Specify the group to which this question belongs.

**Validation Rules** - Click this checkbox to mark this question as mandatory when completing Inspections or Handovers.

**Default Value -** This is the set answer when the user is completing the Inspection or Handover form.

In the inspection form, the question will look like this:
