Elevations are the view you would see if you were standing and looking directly at the wall. You can draw elevations for either side of a wall, left or right. The side you will draw depends on the direction the wall is facing, determined by highlighting the wall and observing the direction that the gray arrow faces. Looking down the wall in this direction, the right and left are to each right and left side of the wall.

Elevation views show the complete formwork needed for the wall.

For sloped and stepped walls you can draw the elevation for all adjoining walls, provided they are all connected at the same angle. You only need to select one wall in the length of adjoining walls to see the entire group.
