# Performing a Handover (IOS)

When a scaffold has been erected, it will need to undergo a handover. Handovers are an agreement between the foreman/builder and the end user (requestor or craft representative) that the scaffold is built to serve its intended purpose, is safe, and is ready for use. At the time of the Handover both the scaffold and scaffold end user representatives should be present to discuss any issues.

Next, complete the required information on the Handover form **Note: The Red ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/b34f388f-cca1-495c-97b9-65a451710110.png) indicates that this is a mandatory field**

4. Tap **Pass** or **Fail** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-NL08VG10.png) **Note: If you select Fail, you must provide a comment**
5. Select **Scaffold Representative**

7. Tap **Handover Recipient**

9. Tap the tick icon to complete the Handover ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ae69c864-58f0-4711-91e1-d1c2f7dff95f/Images/Documentation/image-J66YNOJU.png) You can view the Handover in the [**Handover**](/v1/docs/performing-a-handover-ios) screen.
