Building shapes, especially slabs, can behave unpredictably when their vertices become "glued".
If you want to move a shape without affecting adjacent shapes with glued vertices, try the following:
- Select the shape you want to "unglue"
- Cut (ctrl+x)
- Paste (ctrl+v)
