New Features
- Forecast product balances through a selected date based upon Job Site balances, Estimates, and Reservations. Forecast information is available as a pivot report or in chart format.
- Job Site /Scaffold Rental Period Adjustment Rules - Rental Period Adjustment Rules can be applied to individual Job Sites and/or Scaffolds. These rules will override any existing adjustments applied in the Rate Profile.
- Stop Rent - A Stop Rent Date can added to Job Sites or Scaffolds. This date will discontinue rent for products or recurring charges on the Job or Scaffold as of the date entered, without requiring a return shipment. This allows products to to remain at the location without continued rental charges. Products may be returned at any time while rent is stopped.
- The Advance billing method now includes the option to bill on a pre-defined cycle. Advance billing, advanced with each shipment and due billable when invoices are created, is still available.
- A new report is available for locations such as Branch Offices and Laydown Yards. This report will show utilization information for Products by Average Cost.

- Multi- Edit - Multiple Scaffolds or Estimates can now be edited at once using the Multi-Edit feature located in the Change menu of each grid. This includes the ability to edit various fields for the selected records.
Enhancements
- Product Quantities can be imported to Estimates using a tab separated file.
- The number of Allowed Days in a Previous Cycle for returns in previous billing cycles, can now be set by a user in Global Options > Billing tab.
- Quantify is now compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2014, all editions.
- Custom text can be added to invoices that are previewed and/or printed prior to saving. This custom text defaults to 'DRAFT' and can be changed through Global Options > Reports tab.
- Capture Location - The capture location option for Scaffolds now includes the elevation in the location details.
- Invoice Grid - Added Modified column which will show the date and time of the last modification to the invoice in the Invoice grid.
- Invoice Pivot - The following date fields have been added to the Invoice Pivot report: Last Modified Date and Export Status.
- When focused on a stocking location such as a Branch Office, shipments to or from an inactive job sites no longer display in the Shipping grid when inactive Job Sites are not included in the view through My Options.
- Shipping Grid - Added From No. and To No. columns which will display location numbers (when applicable) for the From and To locations of a shipment in the Shipping grid.
- Shipment Pivot - The following fields have been added to to the Shipment Pivot report: Created By, Created Date, and Total Pieces.
- Shipment Pivot for Job Site - The following fields have been added to to the Shipment Pivot for Job Site report: Replacement Cost (ea), Total Replacement Cost, Sell (ea), Total Sell, and Total Average Cost. Values are derived from the Rate Profile assigned to the Job Site.
- The Branch Office (Laydown Yard / Staging Area) Utilization report has been renamed to Utilization by Quantities to allow for additional utilization report options.
- User Permissions - New user permissions have been added for viewing Utilization reports.
- Performance Improvements - Performance has been improved across Quantify, but will be especially noticeable to Quantify Cloud users.
- Product Quantity and Product Pricing Pivots - A new configuration setting has been added to these reports to improve performance for users with locations that have large numbers of active Scaffolds. For locations with a large number of scaffolds (2,500 or more by default), balances will be combined for the scaffolds and reported as the parent job site balance only.
- When importing a Bill of Materials from Avontus Designer, quantities for duplicate part numbers are combined into a total quantity for the Part in the Quantify Estimate.
Issues Resolved
- QuickBooks Rental Discounts - Rental discounts are now properly applied as a credit to the invoice in QuickBooks.
- Invoice Pivot - Fixed filtering capabilities in the prefilter control in the Invoice Pivot dialog.
- Organization Tree Scrolling - Fixed rare condition that caused the Organization Tree to continuously scroll.
- Scaffold Invoice - Sorting has been applied to parts which appear in the Scaffold Invoice format.
- Shipment Pivot - Fixed issue where the shipment pivot appeared to lock up when calculating total weight for each shipment.
- Customer Custom Name - Fixed issue where custom names for customers were not appearing properly on various invoice formats.
- Staging Area Shipments - Concurrent Shipments which could cause negative balances in Staging Areas are now detected and prevented.
Other Notes
A new version of Database Tools, compatible with SQL Server 2014, is now available for download. The Database Tools files have been renamed to indicate the respective compatible version of SQL Server.
Database Tools, compatible with SQL Server 2012, will no longer be updated, but is compatible with current releases of Quantify.
