Adding a Mapbox API Token

Mapbox is a location data platform that powers map and location services. Adding a Mapbox token allows you to view the Map in the satellite view on the Map screen.

When you select to view the Map in Satellite view, and you do not have a token, you will see an error message stating the satellite maps will not display because the token is missing.

To add a Mapbox token, you will first need to create a valid Mapbox token. You can create a token using the following links https://docs.mapbox.com/help/getting-started/ and https://docs.mapbox.com/help/getting-started/access-tokens/.

Note: It is recommended to enlist the help of the administrator and a developer to acquire a Mapbox token.

When you have a valid token, follow the steps below to add the token.

1. From any screen, select Global Settings
   
2. Select Add Mapbox Token
   
3. In the Mapbox Token screen, click to enable the Use Mapbox satellite maps checkbox
   
4. Copy and paste the token and click OK
   
   You can view the Map screen in the satellite view. Use the Street/Satellite button to change the Map view.
