Adding a Side Bracket Turnaround to a Stair Tower

In addition to the stock StairTower types available with Avontus Designer, you can easily create StairTowers with side bracket Turnaround bays.

To add a side bracket turnaround to a StairTower:

1. In the Structures tab, create a Stair Tower.
    
2. Click the left Turnaround Bay (to select it), and click To Connector Bay.
    
   A dialog appears.
3. Click Yes.
   
   Avontus Designer converts the Turnaround Bays into a Connector Bay.
4. Drag the upper corner of the Connector Bay to the inner corner.
   
5. Repeat the above step for the lower corner.
   
   This results in a two-dimensional Bay that you can use to anchor the side bracket turaround Bays. The two-dimensional Bays will NOT show up in the BOM parts list.
    
6. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 for the right Turnaround Bay.
    
7. Click highlighted area below to select the left 2-dimensional Connector Bay.
    
8. Click the Side Settings dropdown, click the L item in the Cantilevers/Brackets group
    
9. Click OK
    
10. Click the right 2-dimensional Connector Bay (to select it).
     
11. In the Side Settings section, click the R item in the Cantilevers/Brackets group
     
12. Click OK
     
13. Click the bottom side bracket in the Conceptual View.
    This selects the side bracket.
     
14. Click Delete Bay.
    
    This deletes the Bay. The result looks like this:
