Cantilever Stair Landings

Cantilever Landings can be added to a staircase

1. Click Structures and select to drag in a StairTower 

2. Select the StairTower type and the Stairway material

3. Click OK
    

   

4. Select a bay and convert it to a connector bay by selecting To Connector Bay in the Scaffold tab

5. Click Yes to covert the bay to a Connector bay

6. Collapse the bay by dragging one corner to the other
   

   

7. Repeat this for the other corner
     

   

8. Select Side Settings on the right bay

9. Enable Catilevers/Brackets on the right-hand side of the Connector Bay

10. Select the Material type,

11. Click OK

    

    
    We can view our model to see the changes we have just made

12. Select the left bay

13. Select to enable Cantilevers/Brackets on the left hand side,

14. Set the Material if required

15. Click OK
     

    

    
    We can now see our Stair Tower with Cantilever landings on both sides
     
    We can then remove the bottom Cantilever, to do this

16. Select Conceptual

17. Select the Bay, then select Delete Bays
     

    

    
    The bottom Cantilever will be removed
