Requesting a Scaffold Modification (Android)

When work has been completed on the scaffold, the scaffold will need to be modified. There are two ways to modify a scaffold. You can create a modification request or a scheduled modification. In this example, we will create a modification request. This will go through the request process (like a scaffold build request) and will be approved by an approver.

To create a new modification request.

1. Open the Scaffolds screen.
   

   

2. Tap the scaffold to modify.
    

3. Tap the status indicator
    

4. Tap Modify.
   

   
   

   When you select to modify a scaffold from the Action screen, you will get two options:

   • Create a new request to Modify Scaffold - This opens the Request Details screen allowing the requestor to specify the changes that need to be made to the scaffold and create this as a new request. This request can be viewed in the main request screen and the request screen of the scaffold.

   • Create a Scheduled modification - Create a scheduled modification without creating a new request

5. Select the Create a new request to Modify scaffold option.

6. Tap the tick icon.
    

7. Enter information for this request and tap the tick icon.
    
   The newly created request will appear on the requests screen. It will need to be approved. The request name will be the same as the description entered above.

8. Go to the Requests screen, tap the Request and approve the request or wait for the request to be approved by the appropriate user.

9. When the request has been approved and is in the Awaiting Modification status, tap Scaffold in the Request Details screen.
    

10. Tap Standing
    

11. Select Modify
     

12. Tap the existing scheduled modification

13. Tap the tick icon
    
     

14. Tap the tick icon in the Activity screen to move into the next status 
     

15. Select Modification in Progress
    
     16. Tap Complete Modification
    
    17. Tap the tick icon to complete the modification.
    
    Both the Activity and Request will be complete, and the Scaffold will either be in the Handover Status or Standing status.
    If bypass handover after modification is disabled in the Scaffold Settings screen, the scaffold will be in the Awaiting Handover status
